Today, let’s talk about something that has been trending for the whole last month of the year: Discord Wrapped.

This trend suddenly popped up everywhere — Instagram, Twitter (X), and even inside Discord servers. At first, even I didn’t know what everyone was sharing, so I looked into it. Here’s a simple explanation for anyone who felt the same.


What Is Discord Wrapped?

Discord Wrapped is basically a yearly summary of how you used Discord.
It’s not officially created by Discord, but people in the tech community made tools that turn your Discord activity into a nicely designed “wrapped” report.

It’s similar to Spotify Wrapped, but instead of songs, it shows your chats, servers, emojis, and activity on Discord throughout the year. I found mine quite funny because my top emojis were 😂 and 😭 — pretty accurate honestly.

What Does Discord Wrapped Include?

From what I’ve seen in different tools people are using, Discord Wrapped usually shows:

  1. Total messages you sent

  2. Your most active servers

  3. Your most used emojis

  4. Time spent in voice chats

  5. Your top friends

  6. Activity timeline

  7. Roles and achievements

Overall, it feels like a little memory recap of your year on Discord.

When Does Discord Wrapped Come Out?

Most people start sharing it in the first half of December, so the trend usually peaks between 1st to 15th December.

How To Get Your Own Discord Wrapped

Since Discord doesn’t release an official wrapped, you need to use community tools.

Step 1: Request Your Discord Data

  • Open Discord

  • Go to User Settings

  • Open Privacy & Safety

  • Click Request all of my Data

Discord will send your data in a ZIP file after a few days.

Step 2: Upload the Data to a Wrapped Generator

Use a trusted, safe tool (never upload to unknown websites).
The tool will scan your messages, servers, emojis, and voice activity, and then generate your summary.

Step 3: Share or Save Your Wrapped

You usually get an image or a PDF that you can post online.

Is Discord Wrapped Safe?

Your data includes private messages, so be careful.
To stay safe, use only:

  • Trusted open-source tools

  • Sites with clear privacy policies

  • Generators recommended by the Discord community

Never upload your ZIP file to random links someone sends you.
